What we collect

The only personal data collected on this site is your email address, and only if you voluntarily subscribe to the newsletter. No other data (name, phone, IP address, cookies) is collected or stored by this site.

Why we collect it

Your email address is used solely to send the Seoul Brief newsletter — occasional emails about doing business in Korea. It will never be sold, rented, or shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

Where it is stored

Submitted email addresses are stored in a private Google Sheets spreadsheet, hosted on Google's servers. Google's own privacy policy applies to that storage. See policies.google.com/privacy.

Your rights

Under Korea's Personal Information Protection Act (개인정보 보호법 / PIPA) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to:

• Access the personal data held about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data at any time
• Withdraw consent for email communications

To exercise any of these rights, or to unsubscribe, contact us at the address below and your data will be removed within 7 days.
